Three Octobers running
Amanda and I didn't invent it, but for three Octobers running we've been all in. Here's why it rocks.
The day
That's the whole trick. You spend an October weekend outside in the woods with an all-day fire going and movies playing in the background. There are games. There's pumpkin carving. There's hot apple cider that tastes better than it has any right to.
The night
If the sites were full, you could wander the loop after dark and see everyone else's Halloween decorations. For now it's just us, which is its own kind of great. Last year we even set up a scavenger hunt down a wooded path. Halloween camping rocks.
